About this property

Welcome to Grays Boutique B&B

Grays Boutique B&B occupies a Victorian villa on a quiet, leafy street in Bath, offering stylish and airy rooms with views over the city. The family-run property features a sunroom and a garden courtyard, along with free parking, which guests have noted as a valuable convenience despite occasional tight spaces. The décor is tasteful and rooms are well-maintained, providing comforts such as robes, slippers, and complimentary breakfast included in the stay.

Located about a 10- to 20-minute walk from Bath city centre and Bath Spa train station, the B&B provides access to key attractions like The Roman Baths and Bath Abbey within easy reach. The setting appeals especially to visitors seeking a calm, central base with a traditional atmosphere from a 19th-century building. Some guests have mentioned that the property’s hilltop position means a steady uphill walk when returning from town.

Free Wi-Fi, a smoke-free environment, and a good breakfast serve practical needs, while the absence of facilities such as a pool, fitness centre, pet accommodations, or airport shuttle aligns with the property’s boutique B&B focus. Noise from adjacent rooms has been reported occasionally, reflecting the building’s period character and layout.

Guest feedback highlights the attentive and friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and quality breakfast options. While parking can be a bit challenging, the overall experience suits travellers who value a quiet, homely atmosphere within walking distance of Bath's main attractions.

What a delight! The whole place is so tastefully decorated and immaculate. Huge, comfy bed, comprehensive courtesy tray, great views from the windows. The staff are polite and helpful, the breakfast was delicious. Slight downside was that there was only a high-level shower and I didn't want to wash my hair. Not a fan of a shower cap as they aren't great. The walk into town (which is fabulous) is 25 minutes rather than the 10 advertised but the place is so beautiful, I would stay here again for sure.

We had a lovely stay at Grays Boutique B&B in Bath. Our room was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning four-poster bed and gorgeous views overlooking the city. Everything was spotlessly clean and the little touches like robes and slippers made it feel extra special. It is an old building, which adds to its charm, but you can hear guests in the room above if there is someone staying there. It wasn’t a huge issue for us, just something to be aware of. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options, including a lovely continental selection. The staff were fantastic – very attentive, friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Free parking on site was a big bonus, and it’s only about a 10-minute walk into Bath, which makes it a perfect location. We would definitely stay again!

My stay here at Grays Boutique was superb . We were greeted with welcoming professional staff . Our room was located at the front of this stunning Georgian property offering spectacular views across the city of Bath whilst sitting in the Bay window enjoying a cup of tea . The room its self was extremely clean , with a high standard of amenities and delightful decor . Overall a very pleasant nights sleep was had . The highlight for us was the breakfast . The staff were very accommodating to our requirements and presented a hearty English breakfast which set us up perfectly for our day ahead . Bath city centre is a short walk so ideally situated , we also found the staff very helpful with advising us on places to visit within the city . This was a memorable enjoyable relaxing stay .

If you ever wanted to explore bath and have a great room and an incredible breakfast, this is your place. We walked to town, which is about a mile away, although you can get a cab if you want. There's so much to explore the Roman baths and a real life Roman bath set up called "THERMAE" for you to have all the amenities that the Romans would've enjoyed.

Wow, absolutely beautiful place to relax. Lady was very welcoming, pleasing and nothing was any trouble when asking for local advice. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was buffet or cooked. Traditional breakfast was cooked to perfection, hot and lovely service too. Parking, WiFi if needed and a short walk into town. Thank you.

Lovely b&b, best I've stayed in for a long time. Breakfast was really good. Staff were excellent. Could do with a little touching up paint wise but, lovely & clean.

After a glowing review from my parents who stayed at Grays for a few days last year, we chose this B&B for our recent honeymoon accommodation. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and upon explaining that we were there for our honeymoon we were very kindly told there would be a chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting for us to collect later This was a lovely personal touch! The room itself was very comfortable, clean and had an amazing view down onto Bath. Location-wise this is absolutely perfect, as it is only a 15/20 minute walk to get into the city centre (bit longer on the way back due to the steep hill!). Breakfast each morning was delicious and the portion sizes were spot on. The only slightly negative aspect of our stay was the parking - not a lot of space to manouver but I appreciate this is out of the B&Bs hands!

We have just enjoyed 3 peaceful nights here. Grays Boutique B&B in Bath is absolutely wonderful. Beautifully decorated. Impeccably clean. Friendly, attentive hosts and tasty fresh breakfasts (the coffee is delightful!) Lovely comfortable bedding and towels. We stayed in room 9, the smallest loft room, but perfect for sleeping and washing! There is space for 1 car per room, and we easily got a space when we arrived. The drive entrance is quite tight though so you may struggle with larger vehicles. It is on a quite street and we had no noise disturbances. Yes, it is on a hill, but you are in Bath, the whole city is a hill! If you don't want to take your car into the city, there is a bus stop 2 minutes away, which takes you directly to Bath Bus Station for £2.50. Much cheaper than a taxi. You can get the 171 or 173 andit's literally 2 stops away. Same for coming back up the hill, or if you're fit and eager you can walk! I don't have any negative points about this B&B. Would definitely stay again if we ever came back to Bath. Thank you
